One address for all your miners.

Add up to five pools, set the weights, point your miners at stratum.hashpay.obm.io:3333. Vantage HashPay splits the work exactly, even for a single miner. 0% fee today, always shown.

The HashPay mark: a hash sign whose bars are split into weighted segments

Pay your bills with hashrate.

One fleet, split by weight. Examples of what the bar on your dashboard looks like. 50 / 30 / 20

How it works

  1. Sign up and pick your handle

Your handle is your mining username: 3 to 24 lowercase letters and digits. Email and password, nothing else.

  2. Add up to five pools and weights

For each pool: its stratum+tcp:// address, your username there, and a weight. The weights set the split. Change them any time; the change applies within seconds.

  3. Point your miners at Vantage HashPay

Address stratum.hashpay.obm.io:3333, username handle.rig, any password. Every rig name becomes a worker on your dashboard.

What Vantage HashPay guarantees

Exact weights

Vantage HashPay moves whole miners when that meets your weights, and slices time when it cannot. One miner on three pools weighted 50/30/20 spends 50/30/20% of its time on them. The long-run split is exact; a pool's own dashboard adds share luck on top.

Fail-over

A pool that stops answering is noticed within about half a minute while shares are flowing. Its miners move to your other pools and come back once it has been up again for a minute.

No custody

Your pools pay you directly. Vantage HashPay forwards your shares under your own pool username and never holds a key or a coin.

The fee is shown

The fee is 0% today. Whatever it is, your dashboard shows it, and when it is above zero it appears as its own grey segment of your split.

What happens to a block I find?

The job your miner solved came from your pool, with your pool's coinbase. Vantage HashPay only decides which pool's job a miner works on; it never holds a key or a coin.

Next: pay your bills with hashrate

After launch, a slice of your hashrate can go to a provider that accepts it, sized each day to a dollar amount you set, while the rest keeps going to your pools. The split bar will show that slice like any other. No dates yet.

Questions

Which miners work?

Any miner that speaks Stratum V1: ASICs on stock or third-party firmware, and ESP-Miner devices such as the Bitaxe. Stratum V2 is not supported.

What username do I use?

handle.rig, for example alice.rig01. The handle alone also works (the rig is then called default). Upper or lower case in the handle does not matter.

What password?

Anything. x is the usual value. Vantage HashPay does not check it.

What if a pool goes down?

Its miners move to your other pools and return once it has been back for a minute. If every pool is down, your miners stay connected and get work again as soon as one pool is back.

Is there a fee?

0% today. The fee is a setting we can change, and whatever it is, you see it on your dashboard: as a grey segment of your split when it is above zero.

Do you hold my coins?

No. Each pool pays you the way you set up there. Vantage HashPay has no wallet, no keys and no balance of yours.

Can I use one pool only?

Yes. With one pool, everything passes through to it, and you still get one address for all your miners and a dashboard with every worker on it.

What about Stratum V2?

Not supported. Vantage HashPay speaks Stratum V1 to miners and to pools. Use your pool's stratum+tcp:// address, not a stratum2+tcp:// one.
